The Contemporaries’ mission is to education, enlighten, and inspire with thought-provoking discussions from the fields of science, culture, media, and the arts. Programming is geared toward younger supporters aged 21 to 49.

Few private collections in America can match the scope, ambition, or sheer surprise of what Beth Rudin DeWoody has assembled over more than fifty years. Housed in a restored 1920s Art Deco warehouse on Bunker Road in West Palm Beach, the Bunker Artspace is an invitation-only venue presenting rotating exhibitions drawn from her expansive collection. The collection spans contemporary art, iconic furniture, and unexpected curiosities that together reflect one of the most distinctive eyes in the collecting world. As the Bunker marks its tenth anniversary, Four Arts member DeWoody will join her friend Anne Pasternak, Director of the Brooklyn Museum, in conversation to celebrate a decade of boundary-pushing exhibitions and to explore what it means to build a collection and a space entirely on your own terms.
