Preschool Story Times

The Children’s Library offers free story time programs, specially designed for children. Preschool Story Time is for children 4 years of age and younger and is available most Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. from October through April. All Children’s Library story times are thematic with stories, shared songs, and arts and crafts projects addressing the program’s educational theme.
Family Story Times
Family Story Time is for children 8 years of age and younger and is available at 10:30 a.m. two Saturdays a month, November through April. An arts and crafts activity will follow each story time.
School-Age Programs
The Children’s Library offers a monthly cooking, art and floral design classes on select weekdays for school-age children in Kindergarten and up. There is no charge to attend weekly school-age programs, but reservations are required, and space is limited.
Family Book Club
This program is designed for independently reading school-age children (and their families). Book Clubs further develop literacy skills and encourage not only the sharing of thoughts and opinions but respect amongst readers.
Craft Club
The hour program will include 3-4 thematic crafts and participants will be guided through all activities. Craft Club goals are to increase fine motor skills, creativity, patience, cultural awareness, coordination, and confidence in participants.
