In this class we will explore different media and layered approaches to botanical drawings. We will use the gardens to observe nature through watercolor, collage and layered drawings. Students will learn how to compose a simple illustration and play with a variety of media to create anything from a representational botanical drawing to an abstraction of floral motifs.
