Illustrating Words: The Wondrous Fantasy World of Robert L. Forbes, Poet, and Ronald Searle, Artist, Art Exhibition Select Wednesday mornings available. This exhibition, organized by The Society of the Four Arts, features the inventive and whimsical words of Robert L. Forbes and Ronald Searle’s joyful watercolor illustrations. Rich with color and fanciful detail, the drawings capture the spirit and essence of each poem. The delightful collaboration of these two artists invites the viewer to expand their imagination, creativity and appreciation of words brought further to life with illustration. Ronald Searle was considered one of the world’s top illustrators, producing drawings for Life Magazine, The New Yorker, and numerous British publications. Robert Forbes has published three books and is a widely-recognized children’s author. This free program can be customized for any grade level. Visit includes poetry reading, thematic arts and crafts and other activities. Approved in Palm Beach County for K-12th. Please inquire at schooltrips@fourarts.org.
