This exhibition presents the vibrant career of renowned Scottish artist Rory McEwen (1932–1982), a seminal figure in the development of botanical art. His watercolors on vellum are featured alongside historical works by masters who influenced him and contemporary works, providing a rich context to explore his artistic vision and legacy.
This exhibition widens the narrative of American art history through 76 works surveying more than 3,000 years of Indigenous Art from Gilcrease Museum (Tulsa, OK), which houses one of the nation’s most comprehensive collections of Native American art. The exhibition amplifies Indigenous voices and tells the story of the United States through art that emphasizes Native cultures.
