The first new Met production of Bellini’s final masterpiece in nearly 50 years features a striking staging by Charles Edwards. Soprano Lisette Oropesa and tenor Lawrence Brownlee are Elvira and Arturo, brought together by love and torn apart by the political rifts of the English Civil War.

Met Live in HD

The Metropolitan Opera Live in HD is a series of opera performances transmitted in high-definition video via satellite from the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Some screenings are live and some are previously recorded. Doors open one hour before start time.
