In the “When We Were Young” book discussion, participants will explore their favorite book and the book most popular the year they graduated. This nostalgic session encourages reflection on how books shape our past and present reading experiences. Participants will share stories about why these books resonated and discuss how their tastes have evolved over time.

Facilitator: Matthew Kiernan

Biography: Matthew Kiernan studied International Relations at the University of Central Florida, where he received his bachelor’s in political science. He currently teaches U.S. History at Dr. Joaquin Garcia High School in Palm Beach County. He is a comic book enthusiast, a news-junkie, a prolific user of Microsoft Excel, and most importantly, a husband and father.
