The Healing Arts Leadership team will introduce an evolving initiative to advance multi-sector engagement and research on the health benefits of the arts. Activated under the auspices of the World Health Organization Arts and Health program, and as part of the United Nations Decade of Action, Healing Arts facilitates the identification and rigorous evaluation of scalable arts-based interventions and communicates findings through compelling storytelling to drive policy implementation. This model, which connects research, practice, outreach, and policy, holds the potential to impact the lives of millions of people around the world.
The event is part of a series of Healing Arts global city-wide activations promoting the arts as a vital partner in health, care, and wellbeing.
