Operatic Soprano Angel Blue, whose recent performances with the Metropolitan Opera won her a Grammy Award, teams up with conductor and pianist Bryan Wagorn for a recital of music from around the globe. She sings a transcendent program in four languages, with sweet and ethereal French numbers by Gabriel Fauré, some passionate Russian songs of Sergei Rachmaninoff, and a set of impressive German lieder by Richard Strauss. Blue rounds out the program with touching renditions of American folk tunes and spirituals.
