Family Book Club

(For Independently Reading School-Age Children)

Our Family Book Club has three classic selections for this upcoming season. Our book club program consists of two meetings for each selected book and meetings are facilitated by children’s librarian, Samantha Merigold. Readers are expected to attend both 90-minute programs when making a reservation.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
November 15 and December 13 from 10:30 a.m. – noon
Reservations begin October 17 at 9 a.m.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
January 10 and February 7 from 10:30 a.m. – noon
Reservations begin December 14 at 9 a.m.

The Lightning Thief
March 7 and March 21 from 10:30 a.m. – noon
Reservations begin February 6 at 9 a.m.

Craft Club

(For Children 7 years and older)

The hour program will include 3-4 thematic crafts and participants will be guided through all activities. Craft Club goals are to increase fine motor skills, creativity, patience, cultural awareness, coordination, and confidence in participants. Programs will be led by children’s librarian, Samantha Merigold.

November 19: Turkey Day  Reservations begin October 15 at 9 a.m.
December 17: That Gingerbread Feeling  Reservations begin November 19 at 9 a.m.
January 21: Spa Day  Reservations begin December 17 at 9 a.m.
February 25: Jewelry Design  Reservations begin January 21 at 9 a.m.
March 11: Spring is here!  Reservations begin February 5 at 9 a.m.
